Olivia Smith
(She/Her)
I specialize in providing support to emerging adults (18-25), adults, and their families. Some areas of special interest include working with individuals experiencing trauma, addiction, OCD, anxiety, and depression. I am passionate about guiding clients through life’s challenges, with a particular focus on young adult life transitions, family dynamics, interpersonal relationships, and addiction recovery. With a deep commitment to holistic care, I also offer faith-based counseling for those seeking spiritual guidance along their therapeutic journey.
I tailor my therapeutic approach to each individual's unique needs, integrating evidence-based techniques such as Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), ERP, and other trauma-informed treatment modalities.
It is important to me that my clients feel supported and cared for through a positive and authentic therapeutic relationship. I am committed to empowering clients by fostering growth, healing, and lasting change. Whether you are navigating a life transition, struggling with mental health challenges, or seeking a deeper understanding of your relationships, I strive to provide a safe and supportive environment to explore and heal.
Although I am not native to North Carolina, I am a proud graduate of both ECU and NC State University. My husband and I are glad to call Raleigh our home. Outside of my work, I enjoy spending quality time with friends over a good meal and playing board games.
